Users can illustrate destinations using photos from their galleries.
Other new features in the update include:
* Optimisation for iPhone 4 with hi-res graphics, sharper maps, more-responsive menus and improved positioning even in areas with limited GPS reception.
* More up-to-date maps. No mobile signal or data plan is required to browse the map and navigate to a destination.
* HD Traffic updated every two minutes.
* IQ Routes. TomTom uses actual speed data collected from millions of users to accurately calculate the travel time of a route.
* Spoken street names
* Advanced lane guidance
* Local Search with Google
* Multitasking functionality
