Much-anticipated service is now available, starting at the princely sum of £44.99.
TomTom for iPhone is in fact five different apps, split into regions: Australia (£44.99), New Zealand (£54.99), US & Canada (£59.99), Western Europe (£79.99) and UK & Ireland (£59.99).
In terms of functionality the app uses something called IQ Routes, which makes assumptions on routes based on the collated experience of TomTom's already vast customer base.
It also comes with a speed camera database, including verified safety camera information in 11 European countries.
The software works for iPhone 3G (OS3.0) or 3GS.
