TinyCo takes its Android devices to Mobage

Tiny Chef and Tiny Nightclub to feature on ngmoco's social gaming platform.

The Mobage network gives developers access to shared currency, a virtual goods bank system, plus a payment API, advertising management and analytics tools.

It claims more than 100 titles in development, and will be delighted to have nabbed the very succesful Tiny franchise, which has generated over 20m downloads to date.

Simon Jeffery, CPO at ngmoco, said: “ngmoco is excited work with TinyCo to bring their hit mobile games to the Mobage platform on Android.

“TinyCo is one of the premiere mobile developers on iOS and we’re thrilled to help them bring their games to a whole new audience on Android and Mobage.”

ngmoco, which was bought by Japanese social mobile games giant DeNA in 2010, says titles lined up for the platform include ports of iOS hits Zombie Farm, Pocket God, Haypi Kingdom, Pocket Frogs, Paper Toss and We Rule.

It has also said that Japanese console developers are working on games for Mobage as part of an initiative called 'Super Creators'. They include Keiji Inafune (of Mega Man fame); Yuji Naka (Sonic the Hedgehog / Phantasy Star Online); Suda 51; Yoshifumi Hashimoto and Noritaka Funamizu.
