Tiny Pictures, big funding

Mobile image and video sharing specialist Tiny Pictures has raised $7.2 million in Series B funding.

The company, which operates a site called Radar, lets users shoot mobile photos and videos and upload them using e-mail and MMS. It’s claimed Radar has 750,000 registered members and sees 15 million photos uploaded each month.

Tiny had already raised $4 million in a previous funding round and had also pulled in angel investments from LinkedIn founder Reid Hoffman. Black Eyed Peas frontman Will.i.am, sits on its advisory board.
