US DC2 portal boosts made-for-mobile video offering.
Thumplay.com is to offer a selection of made-for-mobile TV programming produced by CinemaElectric, including Smashbrain, Portable Hollywood and Mobile Laugh Network.Thumplay says it currently attracts about four million visitors a month.
Adam Levin, CEO of CinemaElectric, said: "Partnering with one of the leading direct-to-consumer players in the U.S. has the potential to increase our audience exponentially – so we’re thrilled."
CinemaElectric says its content is carried on 'a growing number of D2C sites', in addition to 90 operators across 50 countries.
