Thumbstar targets US and Asian publishers

Distributor offering services to mobile games publishers that want to get a foothold in Europe.

Liverpool-based Thumbstar Games, which was launched in August, says it already has a reach comprising 25 mobile operators and portals.

It believes the consolidating games market, and recent upheaval in the aggregator sector, make now a good time to launch into distribution.

Martin Kitney, COO of Thumbstar, said: “We feel there’s strong demand for an open and honest distributor that can give partners the focus they need in terms of marketing, reviews and reporting. We can provide that, and that’s why we launched.”
