US D2C player Thumbplay is to launch exclusive ringtones and other mobile content from rap star Jay-Z.
The firm tied up with Universal Music on the deal, which give Thumbplay customers the chance to personalise their phones with ten singles including 1-900-Hustler,Encore, Excuse Me Miss, Jigga What, Jigga Who and more.
“UMG is committed to ensuring that fans are provided with new and innovative ways to access the music of their favourite artists,” stated Adam Flick, VP of marketing (digital) at Universal Music.
