Follows earlier debut on BlackBerry.
US mobile entertainment firm Thumbplay has launched its cloud-music app for iPhone, following its debut on BlackBerry in March, and subsequent launch on Android earlier this month.
The app went live on the App Store this weekend, and is free to download. However, users must pay a $9.99 monthly subscription fee to use the app.
Thumbplay's service - which also works on PC or Mac - can be compared to Spotify, in that it offers on-demand streaming of songs and albums, as well as playlist creation.
When it launched in March, Thumbplay Music had a catalogue of eight million tracks and deals with all four major labels.
The BlackBerry version offers Spotify-style offline access to songs, but the feature isn't mentioned in the iPhone version's App Store blurb.
