Do-do-do-do do-do-do...
It looks like THQ Wireless' Star Wars licence will come into its own on iPhone this year. Our story last week on the upcoming Lightsaber Duel app exploded on the blogosphere, but it's just the start.
THQ has tipped ME off to another upcoming Star Wars iPhone app: a game called Star Wars Cantina. It sees players running a cantina on Tatooine, serving drinks up to a host of characters from the Star Wars universe.
Yes, including a Hutt.
The game itself sounds like it's inspired by the Diner Dash genre of time management games, judging by the draft App Store blurb:
"Your task is to see that the right beverage finds its way to the right customer. And don’t keep them waiting, some of the customers are real troublemakers! Working towards your daily quota, accuracy and speed are essential. As a reward for a job well done, outfit your cantina with decorations and attractions to appeal to even the most difficult customers."
The game will be hitting the App Store soon, hopefully with the famous Cantina Band music accompanying it. More screenshots are below:
