WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2009 is heading to mobile as part of a multi-platform release.
In addition to mobile the game is currently in development for Xbox 360, PlayStation 2 & 3, PSP, Wii and DS. The game should see a release in the run up to the holiday season.Bob Aniello, SVP of worldwide marketing at THQ, said: "The ambitious cross-platform launch of WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2008 last year yielded tremendous growth for the franchise, as we delivered multiple gameplay experiences across seven platforms and greatly expanded our audience of WWE videogame fans.

THQ Wireless has got a busy summer ahead of it too, with Worms, Indiana Jones, Playboy, Wall-E and Star Wars all on the way.
