But it has big plans for smartphones.
Games publisher THQ generated just $1.6 million from its wireless division in Q2 this year, down from $4.2 million in Q2 2009.
Mobile accounted for just 1.1% of the publisher's overall revenues for the quarter. By contrast, mobile accounted for 6% of Electronic Arts' revenues for Q2.
However, in its analyst conference call, THQ said it plans to launch 15 games this year for iPhone and iPad, while also targeting the Android platform.
THQ has lost some of its high-profile licences for iPhone - Worms, for example - but it has released a string of iPhone apps and games based on Star Wars in recent months.
THQ's Universomo mobile development studio entered liquidation earlier this year.
