But only if they upgrade.
The Times' official iPad app has been updated to version 1.4, which now lets readers renew their monthly subscription using in-app payments.
The app launched last month alongside the iPad in the UK, and cost £9.99 to download - but with no way of renewing that subscription at the end of the month.
That's been corrected in the new version, and readers are being offered a month's free subscription extension as an incenctive to upgrade.
PaidContent estimates that the app may have sold 50,000 downloads in its first month, generating nearly £350,000 of revenues for News Corporation.
It also points out that using in-app payments means Apple will take 30% of the £9.99 monthly subscription fees.

That's a different approach for The Times than some other newspapers, like the Wall Street Journal, which are tying their iPad apps into existing subscription models rather than Apple's in-app payments.
