Users of US text for answers service vote overwhelmingly for Avatar.
ChaCha carried out an SMS text poll of over 700 teens and young adults on their top picks for the Academy Awards.
Three quarters (74 per cent) said Avatar should win for Best Picture, with The Blind Side a distant second with just under ten per cent. Actual winner The Hurt Locker was nowhere.
They also nominated a new winner for Best Actor, choosing George Clooney and bumping actual winner Jeff Bridges to third place.
Only Sandra Bullock won the real and the ChaCha vote, with 75 per cent of Best Actress votes for The Blind Side.
ChaCha funds its service by working with brands to take the temperature of youthful attitudes in the US. It has answered over 400 million questions since launch from over 12 million unique users.
