Details emerge of what can only be described as the anti-Christ of multimedia handsets. It does look good though.
Yanko Design has unearthed details of a prototype touchscreen phone that eschews multimedia functionality in favour of usability. And length.It's called the Need, it's been designed by a chap called Tamer Koseli and it measures in at 2cm x 14 cm. It has two screens - one touch screen and the other a customizable OLED.
There's no MP3 player, no camera and no video playback.
On his website, Koseli says: "Nowadays all cell phones like multimedia gadget. They are far away from their basic aim communication. For these reasons i want create a cell phone for only communicate."
