Having something to rest your phone on can make all the difference to mobile media use.
According to Seskimo, the company that markets the Crabble stand, 61 per cent of iPhone and iPod Touch users used more 'passive mobile media' when using a Crabble.
It asserts that holding a smartphone for more than a minute or so is uncomfortable – especially in environments such as planes, trains, cafes and desks.
It adds that stands that have been incorporated into smartphone cases can be bulky, flimsy, or lacking in versatility.
The Crabble offers landscape viewing at angles of 45 degrees to 80 degrees, portrait viewing, and has non-slip bands.
