The Business Journals signs app deal with Handmark

Partnership will take 42 newspapers mobile.

The Business Journals addresses 10 million users via 42 websites, 64 publications, and over 700 events.

Its apps will give readers instant access to top stories, events and more, with the ability to view news by industry.

Subscribers to the print edition can access premium stories too.

Handmark will develop apps for each of the website markets, with St. Louis the first market to launch.

Each app will be available as a free download for iOS, BlackBerry, or Android.
