Value for money? Er...
With regular questions about whether the majority of iPhone apps deliver value for money, developer Idev Soft has just released one of the strangest examples yet.
Its app - Nirvana The Complete Biography - claims to be "A brief, yet throughout [sic] introduction about Nirvana - the legendary rock band of US".
It costs $39.99 on the US App Store, and £23.99 on the UK App Store. But wait till you see the next line in its product description:
"All of the contents are based on wikipedia."
While commendably honest, we'd be surprised if the app attracts anyone willing to pay just under 40 dollars for a bunch of text cut'n'pasted from a website that's freely accessible from iPhone's Safari browser.
