Turenen will be well known to long term ME readers, not least as the guy who grew Minick into one of Europe's biggest VAS billing companies before selling it to Swisscom.
24MAS is a mobile advertising specialist, but under Turenen's stewardship it has acquired its way into numerous spaces, such as mobile radio (Liquid Air Lab), games (Selatra, THQ, P1 Sports) and digital comms (Spoilt Milk).
Now, it will have to further its strategy without Turenen at the helm. He told ME his is no longer an employee, but will remain a shareholder in the firm.
He told ME he has new projects in development. He said: "I actually have been involved with the “other” stuff for some years as an investor and 24MAS was more like a back to the roots gig for defined time."
