Entertainment exec ends 21 year spell with a move to the investment fund Vision+.

Ojanperä is currently EVP of the Nokia Bridge Programme, but most observers will associate him with Nokia's various media and entertainment adventures in the last few years.

He served as EVP of Services and EVP of Entertainment and Communities between 2008 and 2011, and became the face of - frankly - some disastrous ideas.

These included Comes With Music and N-Gage plus weird collaborations such as the one with Dave Stewart to make the Dance Fabulous N-Gage game.

In truth Ojanperä was a persuasive and articulate front man, but will probably now be associated with Nokia's period of alarming decline.

He will now take on a new role as managing partner at Vision+.

But he won't completely sever ties with Nokia since the OEM has invested in the fund and plans an ongoing collaboration with it.

It says Vision+ funded apps and games will receive marketing and other commercial support activities from Nokia to support their market entry.

Vision+ is to focused especially on converged gaming, entertainment & education and preventive healthcare. Later, it may even explore visionary product concepts such as clean water and energy.
