Amazon looks to extinguish the glory of well hung 9.7-inch iPad 2.
The current Kindle Fire measures at seven-inches, but that hasn't stopped it from shipping four million units in under two months.
Now, Amazon plans on moving to bigger and better things by creating a ten-inch Kindle Fire, according to the China Times, citing that Foxconn may receive samples by March.
This would put it in direct competition with premium tablet, the iPad 2, which measures at 9.7-inches.
Additionally, BGR claims the report came after an analyst said Amazon was concentrating on a upgraded seven-inch tablet and a nine-inch tablet for release halfway through the year.
Last week, we reported Apple may be working on a smaller screened iPad, so it seems Amazon may have taken heed of the news.

The online marketplace recently became the world's number two tablet maker for Q4, outshining Samsung and pushing it into third place.
