Satnav giant to offer personal search, mapping and navigation services to operator's subs.
SingTel Xplorer, SingTel’s first GPS navigation client, turns phones satnavs with access to places of interests (POIs) and real-time traffic updates.
Xplorer comes with both Singapore and Malaysia maps. It also offers voice instructions pronouncing street names and a dedicated guidance mode for pedestrians.
The application is integrated on all GPS supported handsets, including those running iPhone OS4, Android and Microsoft OS.
