Operator to launch "all you can eat" download service in six Nordic countries.
Subscribers will be able to download unlimited tracks from EMI, Universal, Warner and various independent labels. The deals covers a potential 13.3 million customers, with Telia inSweden first to launch and Norway, Finland, Denmark, Estonia and Lithuania following shortly.Customers get three months free, after which they pay SEK 99/month for unlimited dual downloads to mobile and PC. Data is included in the monthly fee.
"With a Telia Musik subscription, we are taking yet one more step towards giving our customers access to what is basically unlimited music," says Indra Åsander, head of product management for mobile services at TeliaSonera.
