In the UK, Telefonica O2's data ARPU was 12.1 per cent higher year-on-year in, driven by growth in text message volumes (up 41.4 per cent year-on-year), as well as increasing usage of the mobile Internet.
Growth of non-SMS revenues came in at 46.1 per cent year-on-year. Data ARPU for the first half was 10.5 euros, representing year-on-year growth of 10.8 per cent.
