Tapjoy teams with Kontagent on developer analytics

Aim to give developers the metrics to improve user acquisition, retention and monetisation.

Tapjoy is the firm that made headlines by incentivising users to download games in order to push titles into the charts. That came unstuck when Apple banned the practice, so it pivoted into a more conventional advertising and publishing platform. Now, it's trying to encourage more developer sign-ups by improving the analytics it serves back to partners. To do so, it's formed this strategic alliance with Kontagent, which accrued all its expertise from working in the enterprise space. Its proprietary platform, kSuite, 'harnesses deep data pattern visualisation and analysis that provides customers with valuable, actionable insights'. Jeff Tseng, Kontagent CEO, said: “We’ve developed a best-in-class analytics offering for the biggest names in the space, and with this partnership, we look forward to continuing to build innovative new solutions for our customers.”
