Tapjoy snags former PlayStation Network executive for marketing role

Peter Dille swaps Sony Computer Entertainment for mobile advertising network.

Mobile advertising network Tapjoy has appointed former PlayStation executive Peter Dille as its chief marketing officer.

In his former role at Sony Computer Entertainment America, Dille was SVP of marketing and PlayStation Network, responsible for the console company's marketing and online gaming/entertainment efforts.

"The mobile space is poised for continued hyper growth, and I’m looking forward to helping the team build its core business globally as well as begin to leverage the Tapjoy network’s incredible reach with consumers," says Dille in a statement.

Tapjoy has been hiring in some big-hitters in recent months, as it looks to build its business globally.

"Peter's success with gamers and networked communities, and his dedication to providing the highest quality user experiences, will serve us tremendously as we continue to grow our service offerings, expand into new markets, and build the Tapjoy brand throughout the world."
