Wikipedia and Shazam also integrated with operator's Mobile Jukebox to aid discovery and recommendations.
T-Mobile has added elements of Last.fm, Wikipedia and Shazam to Mobile Jukebox as part of a major revamp of the service.Mobile Jukebox, which is accessed via T-Mobile’s web’n’walk platform, now cromprises an integrated storefront based around music discovery, recommendations and biographical information.
The operator says customers will be able to keep up-to-date with the latest artist news, track releases and event announcements while having the opportunity to download content directly from Mobile Jukebox to their mobile or PC.
For example, after clicking on one of the recommended links, an artist page will appear along with a list of all tracks available directly from T-Mobile.
Clicking on one of these tracks prompts a list of T-Mobile’s content options such as full track, ringtone or ringback tone/Caller Tune.
