Swisscom, Orange and Sunrise are to offer phling! PC-to-mobile music streaming.
Oxy Systems, the company behind the phling! PC-to-mobile content streaming and community software, has inked a deal to offer its service across all three operators in Switzerland.The service goes live on Tuesday July 10th to coincide with the The Montreux Jazz Fesitval.
The agreements mark the commercial debut of phling! Subscribers to the service, in addition to accessing their own PC-based music, will be able to rate and recommend songs, find the most played songs, discover what friends are listening to, and browse the mobile phling! community.
It will cost subscribers seven Swiss Francs (approx 4.2 euros) per month and includes all associated mobile data charges.
Phling! will be promoted through Swiss media conglomerate Edipresse’s print and web properties in the run up to and during the 41st Montreux Jazz Festival, which takes place 6th-21st July
