VG Mobile claims its game is the most successful original IP title ever released.
Surviving High School first appeared on operator decks in 2005, with an '07-monikered sequel released last year.The game was originally developed by Centerscore, which was acquired by Vivendi Games Mobile in 2006.
The release of Surviving High School '07 saw the France-based publisher employ a variety of viral marketing and web campaigns, including sites on Facebook and MySpace.
Paul Maglione, president of VG Mobile, said: "The success of the Surviving High School series confirms that innovative, original IPs and a constant flow of updated content plays an important role in the future success of mobile gaming."
