News Corporation has launched an official iPad app for its Sunday Times newspaper, but a full subscription is not required.
The app is free to download, and existing print and digital subscribers get the iPad issues for free.
However, non-subscribers can choose to pay £1.79 per issue via in-app payment instead.
The app offers swipable versions of all 12 sections of the Sunday Times newspaper, including its three magazines.
There is also exclusive content, including an interactive TV guide, videos, interactive graphics and high-resolution photos.
