New digital shopping tool sends desired product prices via email.
Stuffster.com has been in development for the past year, but officially launches today to offer online shoppers a cross-platform tool that scans the web for the best possible product offers.
The user simply enters the price they want to pay for an item, let's say 50p for a Nokia 3210, and Stuffster tracks sites (Amazon, John Lewis et al) globally to find and alert them once the criteria has been met.
The site is fully optimised across mobile, tablet and desktop, and has complemented the launch with data that details the most discounted products of the past month. During the period, tech, fashion, and beauty products were found to be the most discounted sectors with 34.9 per cent of items reduced.
Meanwhile, the seven-inch HTC Flyer tablet was one of the high, er, flyers, experiencing a 78 per cent price slice equivalent to £350.
Keir McConomy, CEO for Stuffster.com, said: "With tech giants launching new products every other week, retailers often slash their prices on old stock, but we even see prices fluctuate by as much as 10-30 per cent in the same day due to flash sales and changes in the market, so it can be easy to miss out on these great deals."
