StrikeAd completes series A round

Raises funds to develop tech for 'demand side' ad platform.

StrikeAd's service lets media buyers create and deploy global mobile ad campaigns based on targeted audience and user profiling. 

It supports dynamic bidding, tracking, and automated optimisation to give agencies control over their spend.

German based venture capital firm eValue led the round, which StrikeAd says will help to accelerate the development and deployment of its technology platform.

The firm has also added two new board members.

Stephen Taylor arrives with a CV that includes stints at Overture and  Yahoo! Europe. He is also the former CEO of Qype.

Reza Behnam joins after spells with IDG Ventures , a venture capital fund focused on technology, and from online ad buying platform ADZ.
