Streamezzo has closed its second round of funding with investment from Qualcomm Ventures.
The France-based company, which offers a range of mobile content publishing tools for 2.5G, 3G, DVB-H and S-DMB networks, says it will use the latest monies raised to extend its operations globally.Qualcomm joins existing Streamezzo investors AXA Private Equity, T Source, France Télécom Technologies Investissements and GET Valorisation, as well as new investors Sofinnova Partners and Sofinnova Ventures.
The value of the funding round has not been disclosed.
Frédéric Rombaut, head of Qualcomm Ventures in Europe, said: "Qualcomm Ventures selected Streamezzo as its first direct equity investment in Europe because of the company's exceptional value proposition and business prospects in the emerging market of rich media application for mobile."
