Stability improvements and more efficient streaming on the way.
Streaming music service Spotify has announced that it has submitted its iPhone app's first update to Apple for approval.
The changes are evolutionary rather than revolutionary. "The update will improve the general stability of the app, as well as add a few small improvements such as pausing music when you pull out your head phones," says the company's blog.
"We’re also adding the capability for more efficient streaming over low bandwidth to help out those of you on slower connections."
The latter will be a welcome feature to users who aren't using the application on fast Wi-Fi networks - assuming they haven't used the app's cacheing feature to store their playlists on the iPhone itself.
