Nearly 570k downloads of the free version and a 10% conversion rate.
Sports Illustrated has seen more than 570,000 copies of its SI Swimsuit 2010 iPhone app downloaded since it launched three weeks ago.
The app is free, and offers pictures and videos of an array of models from this year's bikini-toting edition of the US sports magazine.
10% of users have opted to pay $1.99 via an in-app payment to upgrade the app to a premium version, which offers more pics, vids and editorial content.
(Which is important, because people get this mag for the articles, yes?)
Anyway, MocoNews has crunched the numbers, and estimates that so far, Sports Illustrated has made around $113,430 in revenues from the freemium app - although that's before Apple takes its 30% cut.

Still, at least the app is still on the store. It was controversially one of the big branded bikini apps to survive Apple's recent cull of "overt sexual content" on the App Store.
