Sony's Music Unlimited coming to iOS

Set for launch some time this quarter.

Sony, like all hardware makers, is trying to establish an end to end system that syncs device with content offerings.

Its Spotify-like Music Unlimited service has been available on Android devices and PCs for a while, but iOS users have been exluded.

Now, that's set to change with the iOS app allowing access to the library and supporting cacheing for offline listening.

The Music Unlimited service now has over 1m active users.

It was previously called Qriosity before a re-think on the name by Sony. As the first step, “Video On Demand powered by Qriocity” is now called the Video Unlimited service and “Music Unlimited powered by Qriocity” has become the
Music Unlimited service.
