Sony Ericsson to offer ESPN Goals Android app

Free for three months with Xperia phones.

The handset maker has teamed up with ESPN and talkSPORT to bring exclusive Barclays Premier League video clips, live scores and news via ESPN Goals.

The Android app is free for three months to any customer that purchases an X10, X10 mini or mini pro.

These handset owners also get the chance to ‘win a footballer’s salary’ with talkSPORT. Five weekly winners will each receive £1,000 for matching the predictions of the talkSPORT experts. The competition will culminate in a draw at the end of November.

ESPN Goals is available for free and gives football fans live scores and news at no cost. Fans can upgrade to the complete video service – which provides in-match, post-match and customised video clips, including all Premier League goals – from £3.99 per month.
