Developer World members can now submit content to PlayNow Arena and Fun & Downloads.
Initially, Java ME and Symbian OS developers are being invited to the ecosystem, which Sony Ericsson says has an addressable base of 200 million users.
Support for additional software platforms will be added 'later this year'.
Sony Ericsson is offering up a 70 per cent revenue share to developers, who can submit their content here.
Christopher David, Head of Developer and Partner Engagement at Sony Ericsson, said: “There is huge consumer interest in applications that make communication a more personal and enhanced entertainment experience.
"We recognise that it needs to be simple and attractive for developers to reach those consumers and that there need to be established content channels through which to push creative applications. Our new application submission process addresses these needs, giving developers easy-to-use access to the Sony Ericsson PlayNow arena market place."
