Sony Ericsson has chosen to use Aricent's multimedia encoders and decoders in its next-gen Symbian phones.
Details on the implementation are sketchy, but Aricent says its technology enables accelerated development of voice, mobile TV, messaging, video conferencing and streaming video applications.
