Handset maker assures market that its new Microsoft smartphone will make Christmas.
Sony Ericsson has moved to allay fears in the Swedish media that its Windows Mobile-powered Xperia 1 would not make its mooted Christmas launch date.But Sony Ericsson spokeswoman Merran Wrigley told Reuters: "There is absolutely no delay. The product is on track. We have said it will roll out in Q4 and we are on target to do that."
It's been a mixed year for Sony Ericsson so far - on the one hand it has successfully launched the PlayNow Arena conmtent store, but on the othe rit has struggled with poor device sales.
