Are they bovvered about mobile social networking? Well, yes actually...
New research from Harris Interactive claims that 18% of young adults cite social media features as the most important factor when deciding what phone to buy.
That's good news for handset firms like INQ, which unveiled two phones this week with Twitter baked into the interface.
What's more, Harrris' survey found that of those young adults who can access social media sites on their phone, 25% of them said they use this feature constantly/often.
One caveat: Harris appears to define "young adults" as anyone aged between 18 and 34. Which will make angsty early thirtysomethings happy, but encompasses a slightly too-wide age range when talking about new-fangled social media stuff.
On the related subject of youngsters, though. Nielsen has issued figures which seem to imply real youngsters aren't actually that fussed about Twitter. In fact, it claim that only 16% of Twitter users are under 25.

However, that's based on visitors to the Twitter website. Given Harris' conclusions above, we wouldn't be surprised if a lot of under-25s are accessing the micro-blogging service from their phones.
