Snaptu aggregates services including Twitter, Facebook, Flickr, news from all major providers, Accuweather and more. Its UK-based developer Moblica has been using Mobango as a distribution channel for only a few months.
The rest of the top five includes Herocraft's Kamikaze 2, Noki's OVI suite, Dada's Upoc and Blue Lions Mobile's Tic Tac Toe.
Browser-based Mobango has seen a 500 per cent increase in in downloads in the last 12 months, and in December its downloads topped 23 million.
