Akon has become the top selling mastertone artist ever with over 11m tones sold.
The R&B artist is currently the only artist with three mastertone tracks that have hit multi-platinum status. Hits include triple platinum seller Smack That and double platinum Don’t Matter.Smack That was the top selling mastertone of 2006 (source: Nielsen Mobile) and helped Akon become AT&T’s top-selling ringtone artist of all time.
