Smaato operates a platform called SOMA that aggregates multiple ad networks to maximise ARPU for advertisers.
It says this new move will provides the real-time performance and scalability that it needs to support the growing mobile ad market.
The Vertica Analytics Platform analyses data in real-time and thereby optimises mobile advertising revenues across its client base.
Marc Junker, CTO at Smaato, said. “To handle the amount of ad requests and optimise clients’ traffic, our team needed a solution that could load and analyse data, as well as provide detailed dashboard views exceptionally fast.
"Since we’ve implemented Vertica, we have been able to increase the response time of the dashboard output significantly, driving real benefits across our global client base.”
