Firm hopes to prevent nausea and boost security for its 60m iPhone app users.
International video calling service Skype has updated its iPhone app with an anti-shake feature, which reduces movement when a user makes a video call with the phone's rear camera. It will also see its security enhanced.
The second new feature is Bluetooth support, which has been greatly anticipated by users who will now be able to make hands-free Skype calls on the move.
An advertising platform will also be introduced, though paying customers will be exempt from seeing the ads.
The Skype app for both of the Apple devices can be found on the iTunes App Store.
