At $2.99 a pop, them's decent revenues.

Mobile browser firm Skyfire says its iPhone app has now notched up 300,000 sales on the App Store.

That's despite being removed from the store shortly after its launch last week due to the load on Skyfire's servers - although it has since returned to the store in the US.

The iPhone version of Skyfire is a paid app that costs $2.99, meaning the company has trousered more than $625,000 in revenues after Apple's 30% cut.

Skyfire says it plans to reintroduce the app in countries other than the US in the coming weeks.

Its big feature - the ability to play Flash videos on websites by transcoding them into an iPhone-friendly format - is clearly proving popular.
