Simply Tap supports Gary Barlow gigs

£5 donation to charity for items bought through m-payments app.

Last night was the first of X Factor judge Gary Barlow's two solo concerts for The Prince's Trust and The Foundation of Prince William and Prince Harry.

For every piece of gig merchandise sold through The Mobile Money Network's m-payment app Simply Tap, £5 will be donated to support the UK City Riots Appeal.

Simply Tap is the consumer-facing service run by UK-based Mobile Money Network, which allows customers to buy directly from retailers magazines and websites by typing a code into a smartphone.

It asks a user to go through a registration process to record payment details and delivery information.

Thereafter, when the user is out shopping  and sees an item with the Simply Tap logo, they can enter that code to buy the goods and have them delivered without queuing or enduring a long payment process.

Nick White, marketing director for Mobile Money Network’s Simply Tap, said: "The Prince’s Trust does incredible work helping disadvantaged young people so we are delighted to be supporting such a fantastic charity.

"For concerts, buying your merchandise through your mobile and getting it delivered to your front door just makes sense. No fear of trampling on your new Gary t-shirt as you dance to his big hits!"

Simply Tap is available of Android and iOS. Fans of  the Take That singer can register with Simply Tap in the app or for more info, click here.
