UK trade show canned due to 'trading conditions' but could come back in March.
The Summit for Interactive Media and Marketing (SiMM08), was to be held in Brighton between November 20-21, but the organiser now says "current trading conditions mean that running the event this November will not maximise opportunity for participants."It adds that "having spoken with SiMM Partners, strong support remains and we are currently firming up dates for mid-March 09."
SiMM08 was backed by the AIME, the UK trade body that represents premium telephony firms and aggregators. It was loosely a successor to the twice yearly World Telemedia shows.
