Pre-loading content on handsets in China, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam and the Philippines.
Mobile Streams will supply games, music, wallpapers, video and apps on new handsets across South East Asia before being rolled-out to other regions including Latin America, Middle-East and North Africa.
Eric Luo, international business development manager at Shenzhen Wireless, said: “We are working with handset manufacturers to make content more accessible to the end-user.
Our aim is to encourage greater use of content by having it available on mobile phones from the day of purchase without customers having to do a thing. Our deal with Mobile Streams ensures that the phones will contain popular and entertaining content.”
