Expansion into managed services continues apace at Irish provider.

The agreement will see Selatra manage all mobile games operations for Telefonica O2 Ireland's content portal, including games supply, download technology and administration.

It's the latest deal struck by Selatra as it seeks to extend its operator business - the company says it has inked similar agreements with several clients in three different countries already this year.

Fergal O’Callaghan, CEO of Selatra, said: "Our operation is designed to let our partners concentrate on their core business and have one source for all elements of a games service. This means reducing the workload for operators, and engaging with high quality developers to create a premium retail environment."

Karl Aherne, Category Manager, Digital & Entertainment at Telefonica O2 Ireland, said: “Due to their comprehensively managed games solution Selatra is the obvious choice for our requirements. We have chosen a true games specialist that will enable us to give our customers a great gaming experience”.
