It's, like, sooo on trend.
Prada and LG have renewed a partnership that began in 2006 and resulted in the 2007 release of one of the world's first touchscreen phones – pre-dating the iPhone.
The Prada phone sold over one million units, and was acclaimed for its form factor and UI.
Of course, a lot has changed since then and the Prada's style firsts are not so remarkable any more. Also, consumers have never really taken to the whole idea of branded phones with any great enthusiasm.
Still, LG and Prada clearly believe they're onto something here, and are lining up devices for early next year.
"Our working relationship with Prada is unique in its longevity and success, something no other phone company and luxury brand have been able to replicate," said Dr. Jong-seok Park, CEO of LG Mobile.

"Having successfully launched two Prada phones by LG, we look forward to collaborating further to develop premium handsets with a strong identity and the most sophisticated style."
